Why you should be reading this blog: Written by a 19 year old Australian Finn globe trotter whose been to 19 countries in 3 continents for anyone who wants tips and tricks to make the most of an overseas trip or moving to and living in a new country.
I can honestly say that a holiday is the best remedy for a tiresome, repetitive schedule. Trust me, as someone who has just been through 5 months of my compulsory military service in Finland. In fact I am currently lying in one of 14 identical beds in the stereotypical monotonous army barracks about to clean the room, create my quilt square and make my bed to perfection for the 120th time in the past 157 days. I even got to test this theory in March when I took a cruise ship to Tallinn, Estonia for the weekend and flew to Cardiff, U.K. in April for 4 days to check out my University. Both trips allowed gave me a completely new scenery to take in and therefore my mind was as far away from my regular routine as possible.
So whether you are planning your first overseas trip or can never seem to make the most of your holidays, this will be the blog for you to help you emmerse yourself in your destination's culture, enjoy their national cuisine and have as much fun as possible.
Next post will be about planning your next holiday as I go through the process myslef in regards to Budapest, Hungary and Bled, Slovenia.
Until Next time,
Globe Trotter
